I'm glad to see you still have Maggie. I spent my early childhood with my Dad as he brought her back to life. I will need to come over some time with my family to pay her a visit. Take care and God bless.

I have recently moved to St Michaels. I am an Emergency first response Instructor Trainer and a SCUBA Master Instructor. I would like to help out by teaching CPR/First aid/AED etc to the comminity. I can also pass on my diving skills to those that are interested. Please email me so that we can talk about this subject, thanks

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE MARITIME MUSEUM WILL BE ABLE TO PARTCIPATATE IN THIS YEARS RAFFLE AGAIN. MANY PEOPLE I SPOKE WITH INCLUDING MYSELF DID NOT THINK IT WAS FAIR FOR A BUSINESS TO BUY UP A BUNCH OF TICKETS,AND OF COURSE WIN. THE RAFFLE SHOULD BE FOR THE PEOPLE,NOT BUSINESSES OR ORGANIZATIONS LIKE THE MARITIME MUSEUM.

***Anyone can purchase a ticket on the raffle. It would be unfair of the fire department to single out any certain person, business, or organization. Just so you are aware, we have had many winners in the past that have only purchased 1 ticket. I do not know what the intentions of the Maritime Museum are at this time, so I can't say rather they are planning on purchasing tickets or not. While I understand your fustrations, I ask that you continue to support the fire department with one our biggest fundraisers of the year.***

Enjoyed your web site, you have a very active department for a small community. My Dad was very active in Secretary VFD so I remember the sacrifices he made. Keep up the good work!! Say hi to Gene and Bonnie Messick for me.
