At approximately 15:36 hours on July 19, 2006 the St. Michaels Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle collision in the area of Tilghman Island Road & New Road. Upon arrival it was found that one pickup truck was in a marshy ditch, while the 2nd vehicle, a passenger car had pulled into a local business parking lot. One patient was transported to Easton Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and the other patient refused medical treatment. Situation was placed under control at 16:10 hours and equipment returned to the station.
