Serious Motor Vehicle accident on St. Michaels RD

At 1052 hours on Saturday, April 7, Station 40 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in front of 25400 St. Michaels RD between Wales Lane and Blueberry Acres Lane.
Paramedic 94 was first on the scene, followed by Chief 40 (Phil Jones).
A small passenger vehicle had run into the back of a rollback vehicle and had become lodged under the vehicle.
Paramedics and Firefighters using extrication tools were able to remove the driver from the passenger vehicle. The young woman was transported by ambulance to the landing zone, set up by Engine 64, and flown to the Shock-Trauma center in Baltimore by Trooper 6.
Traffic was stopped on St. Michaels RD for more than an hour during the accident and reconstruction activities.
