On the weekend of November 10-12 the volunteers of St. Michaels participated as a vendor during the 36th Annual Waterfowl Festival. The members served a variety of foods such as Cream of Crab and Maryland Crab Soup, Hotdogs, Cheeseburgers, Clam Strips, French Fries, Pulled Pork Sandwiches and more to the thousands of people in attendance. This was the first time the fire department used its brand new food trailer in such a large capacity. The fire department received a third place ribbon for all the hard work Ambulance Captain Jessica Boyd put into decorating the outside decor of the food trailer. Watch out everyone, next year she is gunning for a blue ribbon. Even though it was a long weekend, there were a lot of laughs and fun to be had by all. Thanks to all the volunteers who made this fundraiser a success.
