On Wednesday morning, the St. Michaels Museum at St. Mary's Square hosted a 4th of July celebration, complete with a parade, speeches and a reading of the Declaration of Independence. Driven by Bob Murray, Maggie, the St. Michaels Fire Dep't.'s 1926 REO Speedwagon led the parade. Scouts, parents and kids riding their bicycles and tricycles adorned with Red, White and Blue followed Maggie through the streets of St. Michaels, returning to the Museum for the remaining festivities.
